This made me laugh out loud... you?!

This article in the Globe made my day! I haven't found much to post about lately (hence the week long silence), but I got this fwd from a friend and I had to share it.

First of all, I love the tone that Muther uses in the article. More importantly, as a New York City resident I can relate. If only I had been around in 2003, when hipsters began invading...maybe I would be more accepting or maybe I am just one of them and don't notice it. Who knows! I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did...

Food for Thought...

"There are millions of people in this world, but in the end it all comes down to one."

I don't remember where I got this, so if it's yours let me know and I'd love to give you credit!

Cupcake Heaven!

As an avid cupcake baker and eater, I get (overly) excited when I see cute cupcake holders and anything that generally gives me more excuses to bake. So this cupcake kit on Fred Flare made me really excited. The 64-page book comes with 14 recipes and the whole kit comes with a variety of adorable cupcake holders. Honestly, if anyone wants me to bake for them – buy me this and you will be golden!

What’s your favorite baked good? Mine are red velvet cupcakes!

Have a great week!

Sand, Straw and Stripes!

It's humid and 4th of July is just days away! I am headed to beach...sun & sand, here I come :) What fun plans do you have?

Well, this Shopbop styled outfit really inspired my beach packing and I got even more excited for summer, bbqing and 4th of July! My favorite part of the outfit is the cute hat. I think I am going to get one. I really love this one by Zadig et Voltaire...($95)

Anyways! Next week I will be better at posting...promise. Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy 4th of July bloggers!
