In a Land Far Far Away... {Bora Bora}

I have to admit that I first heard about Bora Bora while watching Serendipity (Yes, the Kate Beckinsale & John Cusack movie from 2001! Sorry, it's one of my favorites and I am sucker for romance.). Beckinsale's fiancé in the movie proposes to her with hopes of a honeymoon or actually getting married in Bora Bora. I am a little blurry on the details, but either way the place sounds exotic and looks beautiful!


Then earlier this year, I was day dreaming about travels plans and I cannot stop dreaming about Bora Bora!

Located in Tahiti, which is owned by the French, Bora Bora seems to have a beautiful culture and (obviously) an amazing location. The resort that I am showing here is Pearl Resorts. The huts look adorable and they go right into the clear water.

Since my family is from Puerto Rico, I spent summers and family vacations swimming in the Caribbean and the Atlantic, where I could see my feet at the bottom of the ocean and the waves were perfect for surfing. I think Bora Bora might have Puerto Rico beat.



Hopefully one day I'll be able to travel to this amazing location. Until then I will sit at my laptop and daydream about turquoise clear waters and huts where I can catch up on my reading cell phone free.
