In December NBC aired a show called “Sing Off.” Hosted by Nick Lachey and judged by Ben Folds (a well known pianist), Shawn Stockman (from Boys II Men – Yay!), and Nicole Schrezinger (from the Pussycat Dolls), the show was a huge hit and gave a new angle to a cappella – for those of us who were left in the dark about how cool it actually is. There were 8 contestants from all over the country and of all age ranges. Above I’ve posted my favorite performance by the winners, Nota from San Juan, Puerto Rico. It’s truly amazing the talent that these men have and how great the song sounds. They even threw in a little Puerto Rican flare by switching it up at the end with the batacha mix up!

I’ll be the first to admit, I called my mom a super dork for even suggesting I should watch it. But as we all know, mother knows best… and now I am the super dork for how much I love it! I can’t wait for another season.

I also watched this but I loved the guys who were the runners up The Beezlebubs. They were super cute and they had a thing for The Beatles. But Nota was def note worthy.
