I am not sure where you are reading from, but I am writing from New York. And it is freezing here! The wind is the worst thing during the cold winter months. As my mother, boyfriend and friends can attest, I have huge issues dressing weather appropriate! I usually find a cute winter coat every season, but hats and shoes are my biggest dilemma. So this week we are tackling it!

Net-a-porter has a couple different colors and the company sends you the wool so you can knit your very own scarf, hat, gloves, or leg warmers. That would be such a great gift -- for yourself or a shivering buddy.
